Photo Guide
The most important part to the quality of the pet portrait, is the image you upload. Read the following guidelines to get the best possible pet portrait.
• Upload a photo taken in daylight or in a brightly lit room and don't use flash.
• Photos taken at eye level look best. The pet should look exactly you want them to look in the portrait.
• Make sure the whole face, ears & neck are in the photo and well lit.
• Avoid blurry, low quality photos. Upload the original photo instead of a screenshot.
Your pet should look exactly how you want them to look in the photo as you want them to look in the final portrait.

Not sure whether your images are good enough?
Email your photo to us (hello@paintpaw.com) and we'll let you know.
We often create portraits of pets that have passed away, so we understand it's not always possible to follow all of the guidelines above.
In many cases, we can still make it work.
